XPlore Compliance Procedure
It is required that all PDF submissions be IEEE Xplore compliant. If your file does not meet Xplore compliance it will not be published. To help you meet this requirement, you must FIRST check to ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF eXpress system BEFORE you submit your paper to the conference final submission web site.
- Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress web site https://ieee-pdf-express.org
- Use this conference ID: 53668X
- Use PDF eXpress to check or create your PDF file
- Once you have a GOOD PDF file, return to the ISAF 2023 final submission web site (https://epapers.org/isaf2023) and upload your final submission.
NOTE: Check your PDF file for compliance and submit your final paper for publication.
Submission of proceeding paper (Track 1)
- Click here to be taken to the IEEE ISAF-ISIF-PFM 2023 Submission Portal.
- Type in the title of your initial submission and select the topic area your paper falls under best. [note: This will help in choosing the reviewers. The PDF of your initial submission will be uploaded later]
- Click the Submit button.
- On the next page, you will see a large green checkmark and a statement that the paper was recorded.
- The manuscript is used to refer to the PDF form of your initial submission.

The upload icon (third column from the right) will open a dialog box that will enable you to select and upload the (eventual) proceeding paper file via the web or via FTP.
IEEE Copyright Notice
If authors would like to post their papers electronically on any website, any ftp site, or any other electronic dissemination technique, they must include the IEEE Copyright notice on the initial screen displaying the IEEE-copyrighted material.
IEEE Copyright Form
Each accepted contribution to IEEE ISAF 2023 must be accompanied by a signed Copyright Form. The copyright form should be filled out and signed by one author, preferably the primary author.
*Additional Publication Notes
T-UFFC no longer accepts letters, however, OJ-UFFC will continue accepting submissions in the letter format. During your submission, specify in your cover letter that you are submitting a manuscript based on a presentation in ISAF. The article processing charge for OJ-UFFC will be waived for manuscripts submitted until 31 December 2023. Manuscripts submitted to T-UFFC or OJ-UFFC will enjoy the benefits of peer review to improve the quality of the publication and the authors will be able to list these publications under peer-reviewed publications. These new publication tracks will also give the authors the opportunity to add material in their publications and incorporate comments they might have received during their conference presentations.
Each manuscript must be unpublished for publication track 2 and 3, the submitted manuscript must be prepared for potential publication in IEEE T-UFFC or OJ-UFFC, and not be under consideration elsewhere. By submitting a manuscript, all authors confirm that the work is original. Figures, tables, and reported results are original contributions and accurately reflect the presented work at the conference. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to obtain consent from all co-authors and sponsors before submission.
All articles published in IEEE T-UFFC and OJ-UFFC are evaluated in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board (PSPB) Operations Manual (Sections 8.2). More detailed information on the review process can be found at https://ieee-uffc.org/publication/t-uffc/guidelines-authors
